# Studio Ghibli Museum

Hayao Miyazaki's museum is a pilgrimage site for families who grew up on Totoro, Spirited Away, and My Neighbor Totoro. The building feels handbuilt — spiraling staircases, stained glass, hidden corridors. A small theater screens short films only available here. The Cat Bus play structure is for children under 12 only.

## Insider Tips
Tickets must be purchased in advance via Lawson convenience stores or the official site — they sell out weeks ahead, especially on weekends. No photography inside. The short film in the Saturn Theater changes periodically and is a genuine highlight. Take the Mitaka shuttle bus from the station.
